L- Pale amber, slightly cloudy, pours with 3mm white head.
S- Mild just some earthy notes plus wheat.
T- Some brief 'brightness' (from hops) on the front followed by the authentic facets of a Bavarian Hefeweizen, a spice/fruit combo found in quality Hefe's and well produced here.
F- They have done a very good job of brewing an authentic Hefe here, esp. considering the brewery in in a couple of railway arches in 'Sarf' London. It's a versatile profile, well chilled works in Summer, and a touch nearer room temp would be sessionable in colder months.
O- I'm impressed by this (x-ref re: railway arches ^). It would be fun to take this to Munich and blind taste on the locals, then tell them where it's brewed hehe. ps. I lived in Germany for a few years and reviewed hundreds of the beers there so hopefully now back home can give a well informed view here on the authenticity of brews like this, a German style brewed in the UK.
£3.11/330ml bottle. Bought from Real Ale, London W9. Bottled: 16/06/20 BB: 06/02/2021
