Named for a DJ with one of the most eclectic musical palates in the game. A low strength beer in homage to his famous live studio recording sessions played out regularly on his radio show, and still enjoyed by BBC 6 Music listeners to this day.
Deep gold in colour and intensely hoppy, with banana, clove, bubblegum and spicy black pepper from the Belgian yeast strains and citrus & lime notes from NZ hop Motueka. It’s low abv., sturdy bitterness, effervescent body and dry finish make Peel a great pairing beer. Try it with spicy foods & fish dishes or as part of a session!

Really interestingly characterful. Pure gold with moderately strong carbonisation, giving a beautifully tight and retentive white head. Strong orange peel and peppery elderflower on the nose, then a citrus punch on the tongue with sweet orange and lemon in the hops. Slightly herbaceous, almost like sumac in the finish. Really surprisingly nice.

Jan. 2016: Shared bottle at local tasting, as Orbit Peel Session Blonde Ale. 4.3% ABV. Slightly hazy very pale yellow colour, white head. Aroma of citrus and grass, hints of pepper. Peppery and slightly citrussy flavour, light bodied, tolerable hops.
