Surprisingly tasty, though I wish it had more character and weight in the mouth.
Pours a hazy golden translucent with fluffy white head. It smells lemony and wheaty. Flavor very lemony, which is a bit unexpected in an American wheat, but it is a pleasant surprise. The mouthfeel, however, is just plain boring - no pop in the mouth.
Still, this was pretty good.

Whitewater Wheat is a well-done, if not exceptional, American wheat ale. It has a nice citrus bite and a crisp finish. And, as with many beers in this style, what it lacks in complexity, it makes up for in drinkability.
It is hazy yellow in color, has a thin head, and a mild creaminess in the body.
Gore Range puts out the 'usual suspects' of American brewpub offerings (wheat, pale ale, stout, pilsner, amber), and their stout is their most accomplished brew. That said, this wheat is a refreshing beer that makes for a good accompaniment to a light lunch or to a post-biking ale session.

A: Extremely hazy and unfiltered...looks like lemonade without the pulp. Served with a friggin lemon wedge in the glass which was immediately killing the pure white head.
S: Lemon grass, wheat, straw
T: Straight forward American wheat flavor. Overall watery with bit of grain, mild sourness and lemon.
M: Watery, light bodied.
D: Why do breweries still make beers like this? Pass unless you are one of those people that only like wheat beers. But since you are ready BA reviews, odds are you are not one of them.
So pass.
