Poured from an 11.2 ounce bottle.
Pours a bright gold with a small white head that dissipated very quickly.
Definitely can smell the wine on the nose. Also notice some wild fermentation with a bit of oak.
There is a sweetness in the beginning that ends up fading into a white wine and grape flavor.
At first I notice some slight carbination, but in the end, the dryness stands out. The tartness helps you enjoy this one slowly.
A very nice sour. The wine really adds to the flavor. For me this is a sipper, but I mean that in the best way.

Pours a bright fresh and effervescent almost light amber color with hints of rose. Minimal bright white head and decent carbonation. The nose is wine like with a bit of Greek yogurt. Taste of light sour grape skin, white wine, Greek yogurt, oak barrel and light floral. You get a little sweetness that is quickly swept away by a crisp dryness. This beer is well done. It's sour but it is not in your face with the sourness. It is the perfect amount and level. Fairly light body. Combine the light body and low key sourness and you have yourself a extreamly drinkable beer. Didn't even notice the 8.2% alcohol on this one, it is that smooth and tame. Excellent beer

Bright, bold and succulently sour, the sour program of Grand Teton Brewing continues to impress with their American Sour '15. Fruit, grain and earth continually flood the senses with a tangy and pungent blend with an incredibly refreshing taste.
The sour ale pours bright amber and a dark shade of gold, the beer crowns with a thin but dense sheet of foam. Its perfume rolls onto the nose with musty and weathered citrus, cider, white wine and the earthiness of cellar-like conditions and a brisk whiff of the sea. Early flavors are slight and steely with caramel and sourdough.
As the flavors evolve, the sweetness gradually dissolves away and the earth, spice and fruit create a rich dialogue of taste moving forward. Pineapple, lime, tart green apple and sour white grapes fuel a dry and fruity flare while oak, white pepper, vinous spice and alcohol offset the fruit and are a prelude to the beer's sour finish of lime, grapefruit and rice wine.
Medium light on the palate, the beer's grain character retains a creamy body and a light sweetness that highlights the beer's fruit and tempers the barrel's spice. Still, the ale trails with dried fruit peels and a hearth must of damp burlap and saddle leather in a rich afterglow.

Really great beer, think its one of the best beers from Idaho and a sour that will hold up with the best of them in the US. Have one of the 2014's left so curious to try these side by side soon.

Pours a brilliantly clear gold, small head of foam but leaves some lacing behind.
It sure does smell sour. Green apple fruitiness, acetic, more fruity sour notes that escape my identification.
Green apple and apple cider vinegar sour notes blast my taste buds. Little bit of earthy malt and I mean LITTLE.
Lower end of medium bodied, pretty light carbonation.
So tasty and enjoyable to sip. Alcohol is there but isn't intrusive.
Excellent!
