From my Howler. Pours a hazy gold with enough foam to please my eye buds. Smell is lightly tart with a stronger aroma of Brett and the dry hopping. Is there actually that bug in the beer? Sure smells like it. I can taste the base beer up front with the essential tartness that accompanies the style. The hoppines I get mostly in the finish. But that too is interspersed with the mild tartness. This is also barrel aged which mixes well with the perceived Brett character. Btw, that (Brett) stands out much more in the smell. I’ll call it medium bodied. Pretty high abv so slower sips are in order. Overall, this beer pleases me.

Tasted in a snifter from draft at the Vine on April 8, 2017. Ale aged in oak barrels. A nice balance of sour, tart and barrel notes. The abv is too high for a true Berliner Weissbier, but I would have this again.
