To celebrate Idaho Craft Beer Month 2020, we decided to brew a 100% Idaho sourced hazy IPA. The name “Land of Many Waters” originates from the Nez Perce translation for Idaho. Our gem of a state is home to more miles of rivers and streams than anywhere else in the lower 48. From the long and lazy Snake River, all the way up to Priest Lake, and the “River of No Return,” Idaho boasts some of the most amazing water recreating in the world. We take great pride in the amazing quality of H2O we brew with in Teton Valley. This hazy IPA lays down a fruity flavor profile of mango, tangerine, grapefruit and cherry. Mango and orange juice dominate the aroma profile, with a subtle hint of blueberry to round it out. We hope you enjoy our 100% Idaho hazy IPA for this year’s Idaho Craft Beer Month. Pints up Idaho!

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass

A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.

S: Mix of tropical and stone fruit with citrus, pine, and a hint of melon, earthy undertones, biscuity bready malt, faint wheat twang, and caramel sweetness.

T: Tropical and orchard fruit, pear, pineapple, papaya, apricot, mango, peach, melon, and a hint of cherry, spicy pine, some citrus, lemon lime and a touch of tangerine, floral notes, underlying earthy herbal notes, biscuity slightly bready malt, and caramel sweetness.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, soft on the palate.

O: I love the way they sourced their ingredients to show off their state. The hops aren't my favorite, but I'm still really enjoying this one.

Review #1409

I was doing grocery shopping and saw this beer. About 30 cans later, I am going to write the review. The beer is just over a month old. It comes from a brewery that is about an hour from me. When they changed hands a couple years back, I was worried about the quality. This beer was the answer to the question if the quality is lacking. The beer is 44 degrees and served in a pint glass. The crisp citrus aromas emitted after I opened the can. The pour of the beer produced a massive two-fingered head. The head retention of the beer is acceptable. The white foam left a little lacing on the glass as it dissipated. The color of the beer is SRM 4, pale straw yellow with light golden hues. The beer is hazy.

The initial aroma of the beer is pineapple, mango, mandarin, lemons, and biscuits. Nosing further, I smell lightly toasted bread crust, bay leaves, grass, a touch of dank, floral esters, and pears.

The flavors in the beer are oranges, mangos, pineapple, lemons, herbal (unsure what), toasted biscuit, bready, pears, dank, grass, and grass.

The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy, crisp, and slightly astringent.

The body of the beer is medium, medium carbonation, and medium finish.

I enjoy this beer. The flavors are not like a Treehouse beer, but close enough. This beer goes great with a BBQ or bullshitting on a summer evening. I savor the flavors and harmony in the beer. I saw the few reviews of this beer, and I think it is unjust. Solid NEIPA and worthy for anyone's fridge.

12 oz can from Hops & Bottles. Yellow, milky pour, small tight white head. Light fruity aroma, citrus, oeanges. Taste is squarely within the style with no surprises, light citrusy notes coupled with a low grade bitterness. Average, but really refreshing while doing yardwork.

Nice offering from GT. Poured into a Sam Adams nonic.

A: Hazy straw pour, medium/minus on the haze - still glowing and not opaque. White head recedes and laces OK.

S: Citrus and hints of green/herbaceous notes, I un-ripe pineapple and dankness, fairly light malt presence.

T: Danky pineapple and guava come thru, floral as well...crisp pale malt is buried. Tasty, light, and crisp.

MF: Smooth, crisp, clean, and light.

O: Tasty and light and approachable and enjoyable - while not being particularly memorable.
