Our American Kolsch is a respectful hat tip to German brewing traditions in Cologne. This see-through, straw colored delight was brewed with a strong backbone of Montana grown pilsner malt which give off notes of citrus, peach, and herbal aromas. Load up the cooler and hit the trails wherever Lil’ Critters may roam!

This was one of a few beers that I picked up at the Whole Foods in Jackson, Wyoming when I was out that way not too long ago. Never had anything from Grand Teton before and this turned out to be an enjoyable take on the style that was true to it's stylistic roots while being full of local malt. What more could an imbiber ask for?

No surprise that this poured a golden amber as it was topped off with a ton of frothy foam that took it's time to settle down. A decent amount of dark sediment was floating in this as that was probably due to this beer's age over anything else. A few hints of sudsy rings remained near the center of my pint glass as the lacing left behind was erratic and scattered. Lots of Pilsner Malt, grape, white peach, herbal notes, and spicy bread were in the nose as the taste followed suit. Nuanced, complex under the surface, and as others noted on here, hard like mineral water, there was a lot to enjoy here as the alcohol stayed out of the way. Loved the feel to this as this was full in body, light in carbonation, and a good example of what this style should be like.

Only picked up a can of this but it would have been easy to crack another open after finishing this off. Canned on 8/8, this was good for being nearly six months old and would probably be wonderful to have on tap. A nice spicy bread aftertaste left me wanting more, and needing to get back out to the Tetons for another go-around with this. Nice first impression from these guys!

Clear, straw colored body; lively carbonation; one-finger thick head, white and lasting. Outstanding wheat cracker malt nose. The taste follows with the cracker flavor along with a nice, mild and complementing hop bitterness; some mineral-like qualities in the background. Light to medium body feel; a light velvety undertone; mild warmth.

This is a nicely constituted kölsch example. Simple and clean, well-executed. No gimmicks, just a basic, satisfying beer.

this is very good, and a fine addition to their lineup, hope it sticks around through the summer. immaculate pour, sunny yellow toned, crystal clear, capped by a thick and frothy inch of pure white head, this is lovely in the glass. the aroma is european alright, noble hops and some zesty fresh bitterness, a german pale maltiness, pils-esque, yeasty too, all clean, mineral packed, and bright to me, light but anything but boring, also readily identifiable as kolsch specifically, nice. the flavor is balance like the nose, maybe a little more hoppy than you commonly find from the imports, but it works. hints of lime, dried grass, cut flowers, and classic hop crisping bitterness. its also supremely dry, gone on the swallow, and sneaky fast drinking for being relatively bold in flavor for the style. the freshness also stands out, and the mouthfeel is on point, bubbly and light, but this is year round beer thanks to its obvious european heritage. very very drinkable and real well done overall. these guys have stepped up their light drinking game this spring, i liked the mexican lager a lot too. these guys are doing a nice job staying relevant here. quality on this kolsch is very high, and if you like them hoppy, this is your horse.

12oz can from Hops & Bottles. Pale golden, small frothy white head. Malty, bready aroma. Taste is grainy, biscuity, light sweetness and the bitter snap at the finish is spot on for the style. Great work!
