Takes Two to Tango
Grand Teton Brewing
Hazy IPA
ABV: 6%
Date: 18 Apr 22
This beer is a collaboration with Radio Brewing. The beer is served in a tulip glass at around 46 degrees. The pour created a frothy and airy two-fingered head. The retention of the head is above average. Lacing was formed on the glass after the slow dissipation. The color of the beer is SRM 4, a pale yellow. The appearance is above average for this style.
Nosing the beer, I smell melon, pineapple, mango, peaches, grass, lightly toasted malts, hints of floral, and a subtle dankness.
I taste peaches, tangerines, pineapple, mango, dankness, floral, grass, and lightly toasted malts. A subtle sweetness invades the palate in a gentle way.
The mouthfeel is slightly astringent and finishes crisp. The body is medium and has medium-plus carbonation.
Overall this is a solid Hazy IPA with great flavors and a firm malt backbone.
