As the eighth release in our Tributary Series, we are excited to introduce Badger Creek Hazy IPA. For this beer we chose hops that were as colorful and delicate as Badger Creek itself. One such hop, YQH-1320, being an experimental variety. At first sip customers will find themselves standing on the banks on Badger Creek showered in sunshine by the aromas of tangerine, strawberry, and banana. With slight hints of passion fruit it will be clear why so many, ourselves included, call Teton Valley a paradise.

I got a can of this beer from my bestie from Charlotte, NC whom got it from a beer of the month club mixed pack. It poured a hazy golden with white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had subtle pineapple and mango fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with bright sweet malt base with subtle bitter pineapple and apricot citrus fruit presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.

this series has had some good ones, but this is up there for me. the experimental hop makes the aroma and flavor real unique, but it also seems juicy and fragrant and radiantly fresh even without that, very hazy and dense looking but not so heavy to drink. the nose on this is lush, like aloe and cactus flesh or something, its almost immediately quenching, slightly herbal, and with green grape and even lychee notes, could be some citra hops in with the experimental variety, lemony notes, pineapple too, very summery, and without much from the grain or the yeast. the flavor is similarly simple and hop forward, just a slightly starchy grain base to support, and fermented pretty close to dry with a more or less neutral yeast strain. kiwi fruit and white wine up front, white grapefruit and lemon later, a little grassy and green but not bitey or harsh, soft hop spice at the end too where the bitterness would usually kick up, but this is only minimally bitter, more about a big dry hop. unique enough to stand out, pretty well refined, not super strong either which is nice, drinkable then as these go. a recent highlight of this series for me...

On-tap in Caldwell; hazy-ish yellow pour with minimal head, good carbonation though. Fruity and marginally bitter, with a pillowy mouthfeel from a good grain base at 6% abv. Minor impressions of leafy green hops and yellow grapefruit.

Draft at Hops & Bottles. Milky, hazy yellow pour, small creamy white head. Soft fruity, citrusy aroma. Pillowy body is juicy and citrusy. Smooth as can be.
