Dark Lager
Unlike the scruffy, scratchy feeling of the traditional 5 o’clock shadow, our dark lager is soft and smooth. 5 O’Clock Shadow has a beautiful dark hue with a thick white head. Subdued hops let the richer malts and crisp finish shine bright. Don’t let the dark color fool you, 5 O’Clock Shadow will drink like a favorite summertime lager. One is sure to have a foamy mustache after plowing the froth off this heady, tasty treat.
Availability: September – December
Malt: Bavarian Pilsner, Montana British Pale, Chocolate Rye, Caramel Steam 40, Graham Cracker, & BlackPrinz
Hops: Saaz

Clear, dark brown pour that looks black and opaque in the glass; huge khaki head, dense, sudsy, semi-creamy on top and long-lasting; fat fingers and partial rings of foam inside the glass. Rich aroma of dark grain char and sweet cocoa; charred bread crust. Milk chocolate taste with a nice dose of earthy bitterness; vanilla. Medium body; smooth and silky.
This gorgeous beer delivers the goods. Taste, appearance, aroma, and feel are superior to most dark lagers. Just a wonderful drinking experience.
