another one in this hazy series, and another good one, a touch sweet, frothy even creamy feeling, low bitterness, highly fruity, summery and right on for this time of year, nice and fresh on tap where i had it, and definitely a mass appeal hazy, if you like hops but fear bitterness and green bite, this is your horse! a deeper color to this, not more amber or anything but like a darker yellow shade, kind of distinctive looking as such, and hazy without being super dense or sedimented, a really airy bubbly inch of white head sits easily on top and stays the whole drink. the nose on this is sliced pineapple, fruity weed, orange soda, light vanilla cream, and bright lemon, intoxicating and easy, nothing green or harsh, not at all overdone, immediately appealing, and without much in the aroma from the grain despite the color depth. the flavor is similar, ripe pineapple, dried apricot and mango, still juicy with some citrus, and lightly herbal, boldly hoppy but never bitter, and with a bit of an oily slickness from the hops on the palate. fine carbonation, lightly starchy grain but subtle in flavor, mild residual sugar, a hint of coconut in the mix, juicy and tasty. these guys have come a long way with their hazy beer and its great to see, this is modern and trendy and among the best coming out of idaho right now...

12oz can from Brewers Haven. Hazy golden pour, frothy, fluffy white head, big chunks of lacing. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Taste brings a bitter bite up front, grapefruit peel, biscuity, but then trails off quickly for a weak, abrupt finish. Same, it's an absolute gorgeous pour.

12oz can pours hazy straw-yellow with a fluffy head. Cohesive hop additions and a nice fluffy malt base work together well; notes of pine, melon, grapefruit peel, earthy bitterness, and stone fruit are all apparent. Enjoyable.
