A couple of nice pours at the Bittercreek event for Grand Teton's 25th Anniversary party.
Dark, dark brown brew.. but not quite black... good 1 finger tannish head...
The nose is bigger coffee and much lesser vanilla... bourbon qualities are there but seem light IMO.
The palate mirrors the nose, but I get something that I associate with diacetyl... a bit of buttery corny essence... dark malt verges on black-out ashy with warmth.... drink this colder.
