Had this tonight at Bittercreek's GT 25th Anniversary Party.... Nice 1 finger head atop a fairly clear darker golden brew... decent lacing.

Nose has a huge barrel presence... big vinous red wine notes... a bit clovey and a background bready element... no doubt wine barrel aged, but the "Saison elements" seem a bit muddy.

The taste delivers.... well done.. clove/light coriander and something that I definitely associate with red wine .... sorta tannic with warmth... Digging how the barrel presence plays with the already bigger than normal Saison elements... well integrated.

Light/medium body with a lighter than expected carbonation.
