Copenhagen 16/7 2019. 44 cl can from Mikkeller Web-shop. Weird guy with a purple face shooting a gun where there is a flag coming out the barrel on the can.
Pours slightly unclear, pale yellow with a medium-sized white head. Settles as thin, almost transparent layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is fruity sweet with a fermented touch supplemented by solid malty backbone. Sweet biscuits and light odor of caramel. Peach and Mango. Notes of citrus with a dry touch.
Medium strong carbonation. Slightly thick, watery, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a slightly stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with a light sweetish undercurrent. Lingers for a while. Dry finish.
Reminds me more of an old-fashioned English IPA than a West Coast IPA. But a fine IPA nonetheless.
