Copenhagen 16/9 2025. 44 cl can from A Good Case webshop. Some set of blue elf sitting beneath a tree on the can.
Pours opaque dark brown with a big beige head- Stable and dense. Settles as 1 cm thick layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet, malty odor mingling with earthy fumes. Dark roasted malts, milk chocolate, toffee and caramel. Leather and soil. Alcohol.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a light sweetness followed by a stronger bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Lingers for while. Finish is rather dry.
Pretty light and bitter Stout. But then again so is the elves.
