Bottled June 19, 2017. Cuvee #2 is part of Central State's "Research & Development" series of limited one-offs, this one a blend of different small batches of their Table beer refermented in oak barrels with their house wild yeast. Pours a cloudy, light orange-pink with modest head that mostly dissipates. The first sip has a significant tartness from the micro-beasties, imparting a really nice fruitiness: nectarine, ruby-red grapefruit, and tart cherry. Very bright acidity but still well balanced, exhibiting a mild funk from the brett and a light, dry finish. Refreshing and complex.
