We don't care what anyone thinks. The CSB crew unabashedly loves fruit beers. And IPAs. So why not combine a bushel load of peaches and a hazy IPA? Combining a huge dose of Peaches with Caliente & Mandarina Bavaria hops with a straightforward grain bill consisting of flaked oats and Indiana Pilsner malt, this beer overflows with fruitiness!

A - Pours yellow, starting clear but hazes up later in the pour, short white head, and tiny bubble lacing.
S - Funk, more at home in a saison or farmhouse than an IPA, with grass notes, and minimal fruit.
T - Front of stone fruit, peach aspects, and pineapple, pine undercurrents, and brisk bright acidic finish.
M - Decent carbonation, brisk, with just a bit of weight, and a dry close.
O - I like it. Not sure it hits the typical notes of an IPA - it seems quite Belgian - and the notes oversell the fruit, but it is still pretty tasty.

look: Hazy (though not current NEIPA hazy) straw. Plush white head on the pour that mostly recedes.
smell: subtle funky peach.
taste: Ditto on the taste. Not a great beer but quite good.

So this will be my first IPA from Central State, even though I constantly find what they are doing with IPAs interesting. Just never got around to trying one.
So the looks of this beer is beautiful. One finger worth of white crown sits on top of a straw/light yellow beer. It's not necessarily hazy but definitely not clear. Just looks refreshing.
The smell is similar to a farmhouse. Getting some straw and earthy spice notes. Peaches are detectable but very slight. Prolly wouldn't pick up if not advertised.
The taste is a little of a downside. Should've been expected though after the color of the beer and nose. It's really like a farmhouse. Not sure the IPA part of this. It's got the earthy straw notes and slight peaches.
The feeling is on the dry side to me for an IPA.
Overall, this really isn't a bad beer. It would get a higher rating for farmhouse/saison but I'm just trying to rate by style and Central State says this is an IPA.

This is a good beer, just absolutely nothing like how it is advertised. Some lactic acid apparent on the nose, but you wouldn't think peach unless you saw the description, and no hop notes of an ipa at all. A funky fruited beer, definitely not an ipa with peach
