this is really tasty stuff, three different dry hopping on it, citra, mosaic, and cryo simco, which i am not sure ive seen before. these cryo hops are changing the landscape, and i like the freshness and intensity they can contribute, and as common as citra, mosaic, simcoe is, they somehow taste new together in this way here, maybe the cryo aspect, but gone is the intense grapefruit rindy bitterness i usually get in simcoe and instead a honey oil pine thing takes its place, equally robust but not as harsh, i love it. the beer itself isnt as refined as a lot of theirs are, its murky and thick and starchy and lingering to me in feel, wheat i would think in high proportion. i like all the subtle fruitiness in here, green grape, ripe peach, kumquat, kiwi fruit, its awesome. a little lighter body and a little more carbonation would be great, but i appreciated this one a lot. usually things with any more than two dry hoppings just seem absurd to me, unappealing even, yet here we have something entirely delightful from a hop standpoint. well done as always by central state!
