Poured into a tulip.
L: Pours clear golden brown with 1/2" big bubbled head which dissipates very quickly with no lacing.
S: Funky, tart, red wine, woody, some nectarine/plum
T: You taste what you smell. Bright acidity. The wood comes through in the finish and aftertaste. Initially tart and sweet, some hints of cherry with the plum. Red wine is present throughout, but just so, adding a great complexity. Yeast is there at the end. There's a quinine finish that comes out more as it warms. There's so much here that I'm sure I'm not picking everything up.
F: Medium body with limited carbonation. Finish is like dry red wine.
O: Very complex and enjoyable.
