Conclave Brewing

One of my favorite Jersey breweries. Consistent quality and selection. Brewing a lot of strong ales of all types, if you're big on IPAs though, I recommend. Located in a quiet area of Flemington, plenty of parking.

 

 

The staff/breweries are friendly, always willing to chat. Every beer they brew is excellent, regardless of style.

 

This is my hometown brewery. Some of the best tasting IPA's I have ever had have come from Conclave. Matt, Brian & Adele make the environment amazing. I highly recommend the Gravitational Waves, Tessellation or Trees of Green if they are on tap.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Small but inviting tasting room. Its an hour from me so I don't get down as often as I'd like. The beer list is not the longest but always high quality. The Mex Morning is fantastic and hope they have Gravitational Waves on tap, one of NJ's best IPAs. My last visit they had a special treat, Triple Dry Hopped GW - they called it simply G3. Holy Shit - what a tasty beer. I would put in on par with anything I've had from Trillium - Treehouse - Grimm - anywhere. Not sure if they'll everbrew it again but I hope they do.
The people/vibe is always friendly. The only way this brewery could get better is to expand. Its tiny and they often run out of brews quickly. There's rumors that they are looking into that and will also be canning soon. The sky's the limit with Conclave.

 

 

Conclave is located in a nondescript building in an industrial area. It's a small establishment and the tasting room is in the brewing area. The atmosphere is cozy but there is usually a nice group of patrons sampling Conclave's excellent selections. The staff is friendly and will take the time to talk beer with you.

 

 

 

 

granted i'm only in my mid 20s i've lived in this area my entire life. i went to HS less than 2 miles away and know the area very well. Conclave is located in the seemingly most random and isolated part of the town. it's right off 31 and by the hospital but Minneakoning itself gets very little traffic.

finding this wasn't too difficult but it is in a very random location. if they didn't have their small signs (or weren't looking for it) you would never find/see this place. you can't even see their brewery from the street.

small place but a cool little hang out spot. the isolated-ness of the place is odd but a cool feature as well.

amazing beer! i usually go for growlers and grab a short pour while i wait. the employees are really nice as well.
