Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy, medium golden amber with a two finger white head with great retention and thick lacing. Aroma of pale malt with a little biscuit, citrus and dank hops, lemon and dry meadow grass. Flavor is pale malt, citrus and lightly piney hops, grapefruit, lemon, pine, citrus rind. Lightly tart citrus rind and pine finish; moderate hoppiness. Medium bodied with light creaminess. An interesting alpha oil forward IPA, lighter and drier than expected from its West Coast designation on the can, although it does have the citrus and pine notes from that style. Starts very grapefruity, develops some other citrus and pine character and finishes slightly tart, dry and somewhat starkly bitter. Different and refreshing, but the finish needs to be dialed in. This can is just named "Duboce" (no Park), but at 7.0 is certainly the same IPA, so maybe a slight name change.

12/08/2020 Update: This is still being brewed and I like it better now. Not overly bitter, a bit dry and mineral in the finish, but a pleasant malty note. Melon, even a hint of canteloupe, but still the dark and dank background. Hops are listed as 7Cs, Chinook, and Centennial.
Attractive clear dark amber brew with plenty of froth in the Duvel tulip. Lovely fruity aroma with a scent of peach in the nose. But immediately bitter. Medium malty body with a slight sweetness. Some piney, pitchy notes.
Woody and the three words are dank, dark, bark. Burnt apricot. Quite bitter aftertaste that overstays its welcome. The brewer claims five malts and four types of hops, and 69 IBUs. Too much of a good thing. From the 16 oz can purchased at the brewery in San Francisco.
