I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery. It's a coffee porter.
Appearance: rich, deep dark brown; almost black. Head is a finger of creamy tan foam.
Smell: quite chocolatey with a soupçon of coffee aroma. A bit sweet, but I rather like it.
Taste: the coffee is a bit raw, and the chocolate character bit sweet, but overall not too bad.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: kind of a dessert porter; chocolate is not added but it carries a ton of that character. Worth a try, I'd say.
