A really excellent Kolsch style beer from New Terrain. The aroma is the very typical nutty/woody fragrance accompanied by a crystal (kristal) clear body with a light and quickly disappearing head. The taste is crisp and familiar.

a decent and drinkable and crisp kolsch, the only basic sort of beer i tried in here, everything else was on the surface more ambitious, but this is also the only one of the five that had any carbonation or head retention at all, glad to see they are at least capable of these fundamentals. this is clear and very light golden with an inch of pure white fluff on top, attractive brew. it smells fine, the german grain and yeast coming together, a cool conditioned briskness that jumps out, but the flavor is sort of bland, boring even, with a lightly herbaceous hop thing in the middle and maybe a little weirdness out of the yeast, but from a technical standpoint they did a pretty good job with this, as its snappy in the finish and very light in body, while also retaining its german character and essence. nice with the spicy and fried cajun food we had it with from one of the food trucks there, and honestly i wish i got more of this one rather than some of the others i tried. good to see they can get something like this done satisfactorily, but it was nothing special overall. serviceable easy drinker, needed on their menu.
