Huge head on a relatively gentle pour--at least 4 fingers thick. Recedes slowly in a lumpy fashion. Significant streaky lacing. The liquid straw to gold with the mildest of hazes.
Fresh malty smell, like a good Kölsch, but I'm not picking up on the key lime.
Ah, in the taste comes the lime. It's not overpowering but it is distinctive and clear. Neutral body but it comes across smoothly because of the lower carbonation. The start is malty but the finish has a surprising amount of hop (for a Kölsch). The aftertaste is more limey than hoppy.
