a real tasty hazy one here, better than other hoppy beer i have had from these guys in the past, but vic secret hops are like the new citra, you put them in anything and it tastes good, so its hard to say if this is just saved by the hops or if its actually great beer, but it does seem like an improvement over others i have had from them. is foggy in the glass, but bursting with fresh hops, the fruity and unique vic secret leading the charge, but there must be others in here as well. ripe melon, kiwi fruit, lemon and lime, lemongrass, canned pineapple (maybe mosaic here too then), and even some peach to it, really a beautiful hop profile in aroma and flavor, and there is a lot of it all the way through, not just at the end. even better than all of this though, is that there is very little of that green over hopped harshness so many of these have, makes me think its lupulin powder instead of pellets, but i have not heard of vic secret existing in that format yet, maybe it does now, who knows, but this seems more refined than a lot of these that are this heavily dry hopped, and i really dog the showcase of this varietal. the beer is a little thick feeling though, either not as dry or not as bubbly as it could be, maybe both, so it gets a little heavy and filling, lots of starch in this one from the grain. the hops are what makes this for me, and honestly its one of the better overall beers i have had from these guys. nice job on this.
