"Spiced gluhwein sour ale." Brewed with blood orange, cranberry, cinnamon, clove, vanilla.
Moderate sourness is present alongside the more prominent spices, which hit heavy on clove, vanilla, and blood orange. I find cranberry and cassia when I know to look for them, but this lacks the tartness I'd expect in a committed cranberry sour. They don't quite nail the gluhwein spice profile they're after to really deliver on the premise, but it's an enjoyable melange of flavours and has a clean acidity that helps it along.
Drinkable inspired work from a brewery I ought to pay more attention to.
