i really am pretty over the whole jazzed up kettle sour thing, it seems like they are all sloppy, trendy to a fault, and overdosed with all the extras every time, like i hate where this style has gone in recent years, but with that said, this is really solid, subtle in the right ways, more professionally made than a lot of them, and frankly awesome for the summer, id be happy to drink this anytime. the watermelon part is awesome, its juicy and natural and present in both aroma and flavor, and i get both the flesh and the rind, a great expression of the fruit. i am thankful the other elements are way behind it, hardly any real chili at all past a waft in the nose, a little compatible eartiness in the flavor, and the mellowest warmth in the throat, and the lime serves with the lemony lactic pucker to enhance the watermelon late, lightly zesty and very fresh, a fine contribution. great carbonation, not too much body, no textural slop, high effervescence, and clean at the finish, snappy even with some light rindy bitterness. overall a really good beer, new school as it is, but the best part of it for me was getting to share it with some close friends i hadnt seen in way too long. a highly interesting and conversational beer, drinkable for the style, and well proportioned.

Look - Hazy golden color with a slight white film and a nice head
Smell - tart watermellon lime
Taste - Salty watermellon lime and tart
Feel - Creamy fuller body with a slight carb
Overall - Really nice beer
