Long lasting beige head. Impressive thick blanketing of lace. Deep brown color but light passes through the center of the glass.
Light coffee aroma from the black patent malt presence. No cream and no chocolate smells.
Thinner body like most Irish Stouts. The carbonation is fine and extensive. The flavor is less coffee like and more ashen with charcoal notes.
