Sampling a cold 16 oz can poured into a clear cup (hotel life)!
The beer pours a clear copper color with creamy eggshell to light khaki head of 1 cm. This foam fades to a thin surface layer soon after the pour. I do get some scattered lattice on my cup.
Aroma is a mix of toasted wheat bread and some toffee. With hints of earthy hops.
First sip reveals a medium to light body with medium carbonation and a smooth texture. The beer drinks really easy on physical traits.
Flavor follows the nose with caramel and some lightly toasted bread. Hints of earthy or an herbal tea hop note.
Never any hints of ABV.
The beer is fairly average on all fronts, certainly not offensive, but not a stand out experience from a new to me brewery.
Id try something else next time im in Montreal.

Had on tap. Classic lighter brown body that is mostly clear with an off-white head that settles into a collar. Smell and taste are clones: caramel, malts, slight earth, and toast, a classic combination. Body is a little light, but never thin, appropriately malt driven, smooth.
