Taste: roasted kinda mellow coffee bean notes, dry semi bitter, smokey, dark chocolate and black malts.
Same with the nose as above. Pitch black in color, opaque, with a delicate tan head and ringed lace.
Full but not heavy body. Would pair well with smoked BBQ food.

Fantastic offering from Hop Lot. Thick, rich, roasty, and creamy without any distracting bitterness or boozyness. This one has coffee and cocoa nibs bursting out of the glass and an incredible smoothness that makes it refreshing to drink even on the hottest of days. If you choose one Ale at Hop Lot, choose this one.
