33 cl bottle, 2024 vint at 11% ABV, poured into a branded glass in Toulouse, France.
Super deep brown brew. Good foam. If I was blind tasting, I’d say it’s an Imperial Stout dressed up in a Baltic Porter label. Thick and sweet, very molasses, prune notes, gentle barrel, vanilla, little alcohol warmth, and a whisper of bourbon at the finish. Full in the mouth, low carbonation. Overall, a fine winter warmer that rides just a bit too sweet.
