Fizzy brown foam on black brew.
Nose is prune juice, dark malt, some cocoa powder.
Taste leads chocolate, then the chili grabs hold of the tongue. Maybe a tad too much. That’s about all there is here.,.
Mouth is thin. High carbonation in this young beer.
Overall, the bourbon and its barrel called in sick today. What arrived is a fizzed red hot chili pepper that burns the roof. Maybe a year of punishment in the cellar would mellow this one out.,.
