Given that Windsor, NS is the home of the annual pumpkin regatta and also given how close Schoolhouse Brewery is to Lake Pisaquid, it's only natural that they brew a pumpkin beer. It feels rather out of season now around the winter holidays, but it was for sale at the brewery, so of course I had to try it.
A: brown with beige head and visible carbonation
S: pumpkin pie spices. A bit sweet and very appealing.
T: Spicy and a bit bitter. I can definitely taste the cinnamon. Not as much sweetness as on the nose.
