Deep golden clear look. Smooth refreshing taste with little or no after taste. So smooth for a high octane brew!

Crowler from a local tap joint. Poured into a whiskey tulip glass. Absolutely loved this. Poured a dark copper color. I expected a strong malty taste but that was not the case. Citra hops shine in the smell and taste of this beer. For 9 %, no boozy taste and extremely smooth. Dangerously drinkable DIPA and a Top Notch Offering!

I tried this on tap at T Brendan O'Reilly's, served chilled in a 10oz snifter

The color is medium dark amber/ copper shade with light haze and good retention with white head and fine bead. The smell is excellent with strong zest of citrus and mango-like tropical hop aroma with slight piney odor and floral ester with light malt sweetness in the nose. The feel has great hop texture with moderately bitter quality and medium carbonation adding levity with lightly sweet body and juicy resinous aspect with subtle spice accent and mild alcohol influence with semi-dry finish and bitter linger.

The taste begins with a good flavor of citrus from the Citra/Amarillo combo and mild grapefruit in the taste with a tangy tropical juicy quality and light dank aspect with a good malt backing that supports the hop bitterness and a lingering ruby red/tangerine mix of juicy and sweet with light astringent element and mild alcohol warming in the back of the throat. This is a solid Imperial IPA with juicy and resinous citrus forward flavor. I would drink this all day or at least til my palate got fatigued. This is like a sunny tropical hop in a glass.

My lovely wife picked me up a massive can of this on her way back from Rehobeth Beach. I couldn't wait to crack this huge can open and try this offering.

This was a very nice DIPA and I've had a ton of them over the last few years. Drank half in a pint glass and the rest straight outta the can since I love the few IPAs I've had in cans lately. Actually, I love canned beer and IPAs so when I get both in one beer it's like Nirvana....and your not only gonna have one so the huge can was very smart on their part.

For just opening the doors on this place, Rubber Sole hit the ground running and this offering is batting .320 and if you know anything about baseball.....that's pretty good.

I also got a highwheel IPA from these guys and have yet to break the seal on that puppy.

Rubber Soul really nailed it with this silky malt and hop bomb. 100 IBUs and counting.
Had on tap at The Brick Room ( thanks Carly!) and then again at Rubber Soul tasting room.
Pours a bright rich apricot gold color worth a nice creamy head. Good retention despite the fairly big abv.
Nose is citrus and caramel and a bit of yeast. Taste is rich with tangerine like citrus , pine, and caramel. Malt is big and tends to keep the big hop bitterness from burning. Nicely balanced. Mouth feel is silky and full, but still goes down easy and refreshing.
Hey...who are these guys? Great beer. Will be checking out their other beers momentarily.
