Tasted at Good Beer Festival in Salisbury, MD. I will admit that Ib didn't take copious notes, but this was my favorite of about a dozen offerings. I'm not a huge Amber Ale fan, but this was well-balanced and eminently drinkable. Just enough sweetness; little if any residual bite. Nice dry finish. First I'd heard of this brewery, but my first impression (which, according to conventional wisdom, counts) is very positive.

Very good hoppy amber ale...almost an imperial red. Might have been another unnecessary amber ale, but the kids in the kitchen really worked the malt bill, picked some good hopping and produced a delicious and smooth beer. Add the honey and it gets really interesting. There are a lot of flavors here from Cascade like citrus and resin bitterness to subtle sweetness of the honey. Malt is full but dry. So the overall beer doesn't get cloying or tacky. Great tasty alternative/if cousin to your usual IPA/DIPA. Go get one of these.
