Nice medium-level west coast style double - a little pineapple, tangerine, a little red grapefruit, moderate sopped bread malt backbone. Bitterness is moderate, mouthfeel is balanced. No frills, well done

Rubber Soul Brewing Co. "Dropout Double IPA"
$5.75 pint on tap @ American Bar & Grill, Lancaster, PA
Notes: Slightly hazy deep amber/copper body beneath a creamy white head that exhibits very good head retention and lacing. The aroma is resinous, perhaps a little catty, piney, and citrusy. The flavor follows with a caramel accented malt base that holds it all together. The alcohol is no more present than it should be for the style. Full body, gently crisp. Nicely done!
