maybe i didnt catch this one at maximum freshness, had it from the bottle off of a very large beer menu, not sure how fast the place is moving through it. its a clear and well hopped pale ale, honey colored and with some malt sweetness running through it, feels a little bigger to me than most in terms of both body and flavor intensity, and in my experience was quite distinct. its got a big mosaic sort of nose, stone fruits and pineapple and mango juice, very fruity, especially with the residual sweetness seeming to accentuate that element of the hops. there is also a sort of candied note to the hops, real punchy, and with a sticky sativa nugget vibe to me. curious other fruit flavors here too from purple grape drink to ripe juicy melon. there is very little bitterness as well, less than expected with the boldness of the hops. id love to know what hops are actually in this, as its rather unique in that regard. medium body and some sweetness lingering on the tongue after each sip, but not so much that it slows me down with it at all. id love to try this at peak freshness, but its a cool pale ale that stands out in a very crowded style space. ive liked what ive had from these guys so far.
