Version 2 of Breakfast Stout was much better in coffee freshness, better aroma and less coffee bitterness. Very solid beer.

Pours a dark brown-black with a tall head of 3 fingers in the snifter. Brown-beige.
Aroma has a strong metallic presence, with following notes of coffee and those Easter peanut butter eggs.
Flavor is interesting to say the least. Starts with sour coffee and crayons, hints of watery peanut butter, slight burnt toast ends, and cheap chocolate syrup. Slight trail of caramel.
Feel is a bit thin for an imperial stout, but it's well-carbonated so it's easy drinking. Roasty finish.
Overall, it's not that great, but marginally drinkable. Glad I could try it.

Pours a deep black with hints of dark brown. Foamy light brown head. Nose is of fresh brewed coffee and notes of chocolate. Nice roasted malt start to the beer, a bit of dark roast coffee and dry chalky chocolate. Nice oaty taste as well. Picture eating a chocolate chip granola bar with your morning coffee. Smooth silky mouthfeel. Medium body with a nice chocolate finish.
