We needed a way to share Feelin' Hazy with our draft-loving friends, but other friends of ours have a problem with us putting it in a keg. Instead, we made a 4% ABV version of it. hIPAcrit still has the great aroma that sets the tone for a great low-bitterness session IPA experience.

Another selection from the almost week long work trip in SLC. Enjoyed the town, found this beer to be in the average-ish realm, like the Tom Petty song Runaway Trains.
What are session ipas anyways? Are they pale ales? What a dilemma. Rather than a hazy appearance, this one looks just thin and cloudy. Yellow, dullard clarity, 1/4" white head, fast dissipation. The aroma was a C hop of bitterness alongside some tree like notes. Light grain. Jailhouse gets empty.
The taste pushes the light notion of everything beer. Neutral yeast, super light grain bill, someone spilled beer in my water vibes. Its nonoffensive and easy enough to drink. Damn my fingers are getting chilled out typing this, haven't been used to that in a little bit. Just mostly things that remind you of a more full fledged beer. A light beer without the branding, but more hops than every other light beer. Very airy. Does nothing badly.
Twitter/X has lots of beer geeks. You love to see it. Keep simping.

Pours a clear honey gold with a finger of foamy head that slowly settles to a thin cap with plenty of lacing. Malty aroma with a faint citrus tail. Taste follows nose.

12 oz bottle from Harmons (4%). Very pale golden, clear, foamy head. Light bready aroma, apple. Taste is more bready malts, crisp, light sweetness, clean, finishes fast.

this one kind of drank like a soda to me, super light in appearance and in taste and in texture, fizzy and bright, but missing something to me. looks nothing like a new england, decent clarity to it, it definitely doesnt look intentionally hazy. the head is small and white and airy, the beer explodes with carbonation. i had it with a slice of pizza, so a lighter ipa was just fine with this food, but it still really left something to be desired for me. its thin and almost watery even with all the bubbles, the hops are there, but almost like in these new low calorie ipa types, the fruitiness without the bite, and while it drinks easy enough and all, it just didnt quite scratch the itch for something in this style. maybe a holdover recipe from before the utah law changed for draft, but this could use more grain and body, as well as some bitterness from the hops. fresh and fine, but lackluster at the same time, especially after their galaxy juice ipa, which was a standout on the hoppy side from my trip to utah. forgettable really...
edit: marginally better some years later now at 5% abv with the change. still doesnt look like its supposed to be a hazy, and drinks plenty light, but the hops are picked up, fruity and juicy against some short of cloying sweetness, nice hop extension and layers of pineapple and lime, quite fresh on tap at their new brewery and taproom space as well. certainly an improved product over my last experience, would never call this a new england type, but raising a few scores anyhow, tasty!

My particular selection was over carbonated. Will have to try more to see if it's a batch problem or just this one bottling
