12 oz bottle from Hinda65 poured into Parish Teku.
Very nice honey-wheat color with a creamy 2 finger head of white.
Aroma is of crisp ripe honeydew and tangerine, with some slight blueberry and passion fruit.
Flavor brings sharp citrus fruits to start - namely grapefruit and pomelo, with slight tangerine and sweet orange juice following, with a tinge of herbal hop and finally some slight earthy hop on the finish.
Feel is crisp and creamy and slightly juicy, with nearly no alcohol presence even though I can feel it in my head. Drying resins on the back end.
Overall a competitive New England style IPA. Tasty stuff.

the bottle says limited release beer 3, but thats listed here on BA as a sour saison, they must go back to 1 each year or something. in any event, this is awesome and im glad i got it, the best of the three beers i had from these guys in utah this weekend. this isnt overly hazy, still holds a lot of carbonation and lets a little light in, even in a dimly lit establishment, and it holds its white head really well. one sniff and i was immediately a little secretly bummed to be sharing the bottle, its distinctly galaxy hops, nice and fresh, and pungent without being too intense to drink in volume, exactly what i look for but so rarely find in the hazy ones. its really juicy to me, no greenness or bite at all, but not one dimensional either, i love galaxy hops in this context, and here unmolested by other varietals in the dry hop it seems. lime leaf, lemongrass, southern hemisphere white wine, even light passion fruit notes to this, dynamic too, it doesnt all hit at once, refreshing for a hazy one too, real drinkable and good. the higher carbonation on the moderate body is nice, still some grain character to the texture, but the flavor there is light and its on the dry side. its only the hops that linger a little bit on the swallow, very identifiable as galaxy to me. this is really solid stuff, great with pizza, and i wish i had more of it! a fine expression of this great hop!
