Not my personal favorite in this style, for sure. It seems too harsh in how the malt taste finishes. I would almost call it a "burnt" taste, but it is not quite that bad. Just not my thing, I guess.

Pours an effervescent ebony with a pinky of rapidly falling tan head. Zero head retention & lacing
S: Mocha , then just coffee once warm
T: Mocha, roastyness, a little creamy sweetness up front. A little vanilla mixes in with cofffee as this warms, some roastyness, just a touch of dryness too. Finishes dry, toasty with a little vanilla sweetness
MF: Medium body, firm carbonation. Body thins a little as this warms
An alright porter, an offering I could take or leave
