Dogtown Brown is a tribute to North Little Rock. Embrace what others throw at you – it’ll make you stronger. So it is with our Brown – taking a style more common to ales, we created a Brown but done with a lighter, lager yeast. With notes of malty chocolate, our Brown is something sweet, something smooth and mighty drinkable.

Doesn't retain a head. Appearance dark brown, not much on the nose. Sour taste on finish which I like. Good lawnmower beer. I will definitely get more

Pours a clear, dark brown color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and great lacing. Smells of sweet malt, caramel malt, hint of roasted malt, slight hops, and a hint of yeast. Fits the style of an American Amber / Red Lager. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of caramel malt, sweet malt, hint of wheat, slight hops, and a hint of pale malt. Overall, good appearance, but lakcing in body and aroma.

Poured from a brown 12 oz. bottle. Has a dark brown color with amber hues. Smell is of toasted malts, nutty. Taste is the same, toasted malts and nutty, some hops are present, smooth and refreshing. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid beer.

Not bad, but too sweet for me. I could do without the hint of chocolate in this beer.
