Purchased as part of a pick-six from the taproom Dec 28, 2022.
Appearance:
Stamped on bottom: "Canned on 22259" (Sept 16, 2022) Hazy amber, creamy buff head that recedes to a thin layer, minimal lace.
Aroma:
Sweet caramel and biscuity malts, not much hop, which is ok for style.
Flavor:
Caramel and Munich malts and nondescript hop bitterness. Bittersweet finish.
Mouthfeel:
Medium, on the high side of CO2. Slightly sugary feeling.
Overall:
Solid citizen. No off flavors or glaring technical boo-boos. Easy to drink. Tastes like every other Americanized, small brewpub attempt of the style.
