A: Pours a clear golden/yellow color. A small white forms and light lace is left behind.
S: Oh yeah, a big spicy character up front and center. Doughy rye bread, a touch of cracker like malts, some lemon like hops lingering.
T: That spicy rye bread and cracker like malts up front. Lemon like hops without a lot of noticeable bitterness. A bit soapy, and a little sweet and dough like malts coming through.
M/O: A light body with crisp carbonation. Clean but a bit slick/oily/soapy. Easy to drink, and really enjoyable. I will come back to this when I get a chance.

I am usually not a big fan of using adjuncts or additives in a Pilsner. Though rye seems to work well for me in the style. This is a good one, maybe just a bit of soapiness keeps this from going to the next level but still very enjoyable.

Purchased directly from brewery on Xmas Eve 2019. Can stamped 3169 13:51 -- whatever that means.

Appearance:
Two-finger white head that recedes to 1/4 inch layer and leaves ample lacing. Color is clear deep gold.

Aroma:
Crackers, rye bread, spicy/lemongrass hops

Flavor:
Flavor is crisp, very much rye-like and on the dry side. Low bitterness to off set minimal sweetness.

Mouthfeel:
Light mouthfeel, moderate carbonation. Very slightly astringent but not bothersome.

Overall:
A decently sessionable rye-containing pils with subtle a dry hopped character. As Diamond Bear products go as of late this one's a "hit".
