Another cool little spot to check out in the "Yeast Van" district. Some solid beer, but not a ton of options at the time I visited. 4-5 available for samples but only a few for Growler fills. It's a fun spot and the service was excellent. Most definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.

Off the Rail is one of many in a big cluster of breweries in East Van. It is relatively small, with a taproom seating maybe 20 and a kind of blonde-wood-and-concrete quasi-industrial vibe. It's a nice enough place, with speedy service despite the crowd. There were half a dozen or so taps, and while admittedly I didn't try all of them, those I did did not impress me greatly. Maybe I'll come back on a subsequent visit and see if they've got anything new that's more to my taste.
