We got a little crazy with this special Edition of our Nutty Runner Nut Brown! After fermentation, we aged the Nut Brown in a Rye Whiskey Barrel picked up directly from Kentucky Peerless Distillery in Louisville, KY! In the barrel, the beer picked up a noticeable whiskey aroma mixed with some lacto tartness. The beer is lightly sour up front, and finishes with refreshing vanilla character.
