Poured from the growler into a nonic pint glass.
Hazy and slightly turbid, but not totally with a very opaque banana and apricot thick yellow body. Fluffy and creamy topped off nice meringue top with a three finger cascading head. Minor clumping and a bit of ring lacing.
Very nice hop profile, balancing nicely between dank and tropics, both aromas take turns dominating. Earthy and cannabis weed tones mixing with a passion fruit and grapefruit quality.
Palate is very nice. Dank earth with big soil tones and moderate bitterness. A bit of fleshy grapefruit flavor on the finish, but also a real nice chewy malt backbone, and a bit of toast and slight soft biscuit to go with it. Sticky mango and lots of stinky weed aromas rolling around with each other. Very large amounts of stinky dank earth that lingers for a long time.
Real nice take on an IPA, just wished it looked a little better.
