Poured on tap at the brewpub into a tulip bulb glass...
Muted and solid dull lemon yellow body. Opaque and turbid. A stuck rock of a beer.
Large citrus and big tropical pone apple hop blast on the nose. A faint hint of cut grass as well. A touch of box juice sweetness though kicks in.
Very clean aromatic flavor on the palate. Good touch of light pineapple mixing with a large lingering and sweaty mint flavor on the finish. Chewy and leafy green hops but stays away from young beer. Clean and fruity with a simple malt backbone that doesn't add much but luckily stays put of the way of some excellent hop character.
The guys here are certainty dialed in on their NE Ipa's that's for sure.
