Looks the part, oily slick black with a YUUUGE beige head. Smell is subdued chocolate and dark coffee roast. Taste is more of the same but turnt up. Decadent chocolate and roasty bitter coffee brings up the tail end. Mouthfeel is tough to rate, on one hand this joint is creamy, silky, sticky, with a dry chalky finish. But on the other hand the prickly carbonation is unexpected and unwelcome for the style. This thing overflowed my glass on a medium pour and took FOR. EV. ER. for the head to subside to drinkable levels. Overall this was an excellent beer and I was glad to drink it.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. A fluffy tan densely packed head of 2 cm foams up even with a gentle pour. The aroma is dark chocolate and a lot of roasted malt mixing with a bit of coffee grounds too. I dont get any hops here, and there is only the smallest hint of the booze that this 12% brew. The first sip reveals a silky smooth textured beer with very fine tingly carbonation that rolls across my palate. Physical traits make this beer very easy to drink amazingly smooth beer.
The flavor is similar to what the nose advertises with lots of malt on this beer. I get dark chocolate and roasted malt mixing with some brown sugar and a bit of dark fruit, plums mostly. I also get some molasses and this beer is generally kind of sweet but certainly not cloying or off putting. The impressive part is that the booze is very well hidden. I also get no hops at any point on the flavor profile.
A nice big malty stout with a good mix of flavors and well hidden booze. Glad to have tried this one.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a small head, and not much lacing.
This smells like rich creamy creamy chocolate, light roast, espresso coffee, toasted coconut, molasses, and caramel.
This is pastry stout at it's best. All the flavors come through nicely- mostly coffee, rich, dark, chocolatey, and slightly fruity. There's also caramel, big toasted coconut, milk chocolate, light bitter roast, and molasses. It's definitely sweet, but not overly so.
This is medium bodied, creamy and rich, with a lower level of carbonation.
I am very impressed with this beer- it's decadent and super reminiscent of dessert.
