On tap at Dewey Beer Co, DE.
Pours a hazy blood orange color with a minimal wisp and quickly dissipating head.
Before any of the tart aromatics sets in, the nose is first hit with the nutty and honey sweetness of granola bar. Then, lightly tart aromas of sour strawberry and blueberry.
As with the aroma, the granola plays a big role, incorporated into a solid malt backbone that packs significant sweetness. The sour flavor is not too mouth puckering, with notes of lactobacillus, plain yogurt, and flavored with strawberry and blueberry.
Medium bodied with some fullness for the style. The mouthfeel is crisp with a tart dry finish.
Overall a nice sour ale of which the adjunct flavors, especially the granola, add a sweetness and accessibility to those who might ordinarily shy away from the style.

Granola is interesting and balances this beer out. Doesn’t come through as much on the nose, but this is the tastiest is the secret machine beers I tried.

Bright red, with lots of fruit -sweet and sour. Not easily identifiable as beer, but really tasty and fun! Try it if you can. Tried at EBF Boston 2019.

On tap at Dewey Beer Co in Dewey Beach, DE. Brewed with strawberry, blueberry, and granola.
This one pours a hazy and thick looking dark purple, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
I don't really get any granola flavors, other than maybe some light and vague graininess on the finish. It's obviously quite fruity, seedy and and jammy, with more blueberry than strawberry. It's quite sour, but not all that acidic or over the top.
This is light bodied, with a lingering lip-smacking feel, and a crisp finish.
These don't exactly have any funky or complex characteristics, but it's still super tasty and really refreshing.
